The rest day was a true rest day. We just slept in, had Spammuffeggs for breakfast (you’ll have to ask me about that), had laundry to do, church to attend through Zoom and watched a movie. It was just what was needed to ride again the next day.
We listened to rain and hail come down all last night and this morning it still was at it. We thought that we would get out of the rain rather quickly, but it pretty much lasted until we had climbed the Loup Loup pass. It wasn’t coming down hard, in fact, it was barely coming down, which was nice. We conquered pass number 2 out of 4 that we will finish over the next few days. The pass today was right at 4,000 ft of climbing. The grade was wonderful and we just settled in and climbed and could keep up 5 mph most of the time.
When we did come down, the terrain took another turn towards dry. It just amazes me that the mountains make so much difference on the rainfall on the other side. This part of Washington is with most of the west and in a drought situation.
Not a whole lot to report today. We are going through the Coleville Indian Reservation now. We are also passing through small towns. Okanogan, Omak, and we are in Riverside tonight.
Clouds hanging on the hills this morning

Rainbow we had tonight!,
