We got up this morning in the campground and decided that
this area might be a good place to take a day off. Not at the campground. There was nothing to do around there, but we
decided to ride into Niagara Falls City which was about 10 miles away. Nancy found a hotel that was actually cheaper
than the campground we stayed in last night.
It is a Howard Johnsons and is quite nice.
After that decision was made, I felt that I could ride to
a church that was 15 miles away and return and not be put too far behind as I
was worried about if we were to travel to our next destination. So that is what I did. I barely made it in time, but it was so nice
to be there. It just felt really
good. I just went in and attended in my
riding cloths. The people were so kind
and interested in what I was doing. It was
nice just to attend church and listen to talks and lessons of Christ.
When the two hour block ended, I rode back to a Korean
restaurant I saw on the way and had a favorite dish of mine for lunch. That was also a treat and I was able to talk
some Korean which felt good as well. I
was even complemented on my Korean pronunciation, which I am sure he was just
being kind.
Just kind of walked around and watched people this
afternoon. There are a lot of people
here at the falls. I was surprised how
busy things are at this time of the year.
We will not be riding tomorrow. I
don’t know what I will do with the whole day, but I guess I should just rest.
My Korean meal today.
I think you know what these two are. The two falls at Niagara. Beautiful!!
Glad to see you had a well deserved day off. What was the Korean dish you ordered? Chris
